This is a fixed speed version of our unique Stratos 20000 TS and represents the pinnacle of our single speed fixed spool reels. Engineered around the Fox stainless steel RTS gear train the fourteen plus one top end stainless steel bearings guarantee a smooth transition of power between angler and fish. As with all of our saltwater range of reels we have incorporated our own unique drag system (CDT), this technology arranged in our incredibly powerful CCD configuration offers a drag package that is truly something special. It’s extremely smooth, offers a great range of easy adjustment and is combined with our spool safety lock (SSL) to prevent you accidentally loosening the spool when playing that dream fish. Ideally suited for multiple disciplines that require strength and smoothness as well as long and accurate casting. During our intensive testing we found this to be the perfect reel for popper fishing, spinning and working crank baits for hard fighting species such as Tarpon, Amberjacks and GTs. Machined from high quality aluminum and running on a stainless steel gear train with 13 top end stainless steel ball bearings the Stratos 20000 SS is a real pleasure to use.

The gear ratio is set at 6.1:1 to give a high speed retrieve but at the same time ensuring plenty of cranking power.

It utilizes exactly the same clutch system as its Twin Speed brother with a maximum drag setting of 40 lb pressure.

Weighing in at just 36 oz and with a massive line capacity in excess of 350 yards of 50 lb braid this reel is at home fishing for smaller billfish right through to large bottom dwelling species.
